February 2009Dear Saab CustomerYou will no doubt have read recently about Saab's company reorganisation in Sweden and I write now to confirm the actual position, as some press reports may have been misleading and inaccurate.As a result of the strategic review of its global business, Saab Automobile AB (Saab) announced on Friday 20 February that it will reorganise under a self managed Swedish court process to create a business entity that will become fully independent of General Motors (GM) and would be sustainable and able to attract 3rd party investment.With the upcoming new products that will soon be ready for launch, Saab has a foundation for future growth and our goal is to seek new investors for Saab upon emergence from this period of reorganisation.
